Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is always eager to train and orient new volunteers in a variety of roles throughout the medical center. For those considering a volunteer position, these are some of the benefits:

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial offers volunteers the opportunity to work in a variety of areas within the hospital and beyond. Volunteers receive a comprehensive orientation/training period in specific areas of interest, including:

  • Gift shop
  • Adult day care
  • Courtesy desk
  • Patient billing department
  • Central supply
  • Patient-advocate program
  • Wayfinding assistant
  • Prayer ministry

To become a volunteer, the medical center asks potential volunteers to:

  • Commit to four hours a week for at least six-months
  • Sign a confidentiality agreement
  • Complete a safety training
  • Complete a general-medical center and department-specific orientation
  • Complete a volunteer application
