Jerry BazantJerry Bazant PT, MS, OCS

Physical Therapist

Physical therapist Jerry Bazant makes every effort to help his patients understand their condition, why they have the symptoms they have and what they can do together to help them improve. “Educating and encouraging a lifestyle that includes consistent physical activity is my passion,” he says.

A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Jerry is also trained in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT), kinesiotaping, instrument-assistant soft-tissue mobilization and Mulligan Mobilization with Movement. He is a board-certified orthopedic specialist and does power mobility and wheelchair evaluations.

Jerry values providing care in a clinic environment where patients get one-on-one treatment that taps a whole team of experts. “This provides the opportunity to design a tailored, specific rehabilitation plan for every patient,” he explains.

Jerry and his wife are the proud parents of two college students. They enjoy hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and golfing.


Jerry Cain, PT, MPT, MBA

Physical Therapist

Physical therapist Jerry Cain is passionate about working with the entire interdisciplinary Care Team to ensure that patients’ needs are the top priority. He uses his professional judgment and clinical decision making to put each patient at the center of therapy. Jerry also loves empowering his patients to learn and grow in each rehab session giving them the tools for health promotion and wellness.

Cain earned his master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He also received a master’s degree in Business administration specializing in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.

With more than 20 years of experience as a physical therapist, Cain is also helping train the next generation. He has been a physical therapy guest lecturer at both Pacific University and Mount Hood Community College for their physical therapy and physical therapist assistant program respectively.

Cain enjoys hiking, traveling, exercising, and getting outside with family, friends, and his dog.


 Catherine FettersCatherine Fetters, PT, MPT, OCS

Physical Therapist

Open and honest communication is key to how physical therapist Catherine Fetters works with patients.
“I also feel that in order to progress and start feeling better, the work must continue when you leave the clinic,” she shares.

After completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Emory University, Catherine went on to get her master’s degree in physical therapy at the University of Puget Sound. She is board-certified in orthopedic physical therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. Catherine believes in bringing clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice to her patients.

“I like to hear my patient’s narrative, their ‘story,’” Catherine explains. “I am so lucky to be able to spend an hour with my patients at each appointment and get to know them and work together on their goals for feeling and moving better.”

Two active daughters involved in sports, horseback riding, music, acting and social pursuits keep Catherine busy outside of work. She also enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, running, hiking, camping, bodyboarding and getting out to enjoy the local arts.


Kara Forrar Kara Forrar, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Kara Forrar is passionate about helping patients take charge of their health and succeed at their physical therapy goals. By creating trusting relationships, she helps patients with balance and mobility. She enjoys helping people to age well and stay independent longer.

Forrar graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon.

A mother of five and a former basketball coach, Forrar enjoys watching her children play sports. She loves to plan home renovation projects with her husband. Forrar’s family attends church and takes walks and hikes together.


Brandon Holmes, PT

Physical Therapist

One of the joys of Brandon’s job is getting to know his patients and learning their stories, including what they like to do for fun. “If it’s important to you, then it’s important to me and it’s how I can help you back to living your best life,” he says. Brandon believes in viewing all systems of the body as they work together. The breathing system; the balance system; the visual system and — above all — the nervous system all must synchronize and integrate. He encourages collaboration and for his patients to ask questions. Communication is key.

Brandon completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in kinesiology and rehabilitation science. He participated in a collaborative research study called iCare with the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific to help better understand how exercise improves the health, fitness and quality of life for patients with cancer. He went on to pursue his doctoral degree from Pacific University and gained a wide breadth of knowledge and experience treating people across the lifespan with various diagnoses and settings in health care.

Outside of the clinic, Brandon enjoys playing recreational volleyball and hiking in the Pacific Northwest with his dog, Lily. He is passionate about biohacking and likes to share techniques and information with those who desire to take charge of their health and body.


Anthony Irigoyen, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Anthony Irigoyen graduated from the University of Colorado with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Anthony provides physical therapy with care rooted in compassion, aimed at getting patients back to doing what they love. His passions include various orthopedic conditions. Anthony strives to provides patients with undivided attention and partners with them in the decision making process to achieve their goals. When he's not in the clinic, you can find Anthony fly fishing, bouldering, trail running, cooking, and playing guitar and banjo.



Randy Ojua Randy Ojua

Physical Therapist Assistant

Randy Ojua considers patients key members of their healing team. “We are not here to ‘fix’ them,” Randy explains, “but to help guide and instruct them through the healing process.”

His guidance includes education and exercises to use at home to correct posture and improve muscle balance, core stabilization and body mechanics.

Randy works in outpatient orthopedics and is certified in ASTYM soft-tissue therapy. He completed his physical therapist assistant program at Mount Hood Community College.

After growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Randy has a keen love of landscaping and gardening. He even owns a small tree farm. He enjoys traveling with his wife, as well as biking, camping and photography.


Sarah PattisonSarah Pattison, DPT

Physical Therapist

Sarah Pattison is passionate about patient-centered and evidence-based treatment. She encourages her patients to be active participants in their goals for therapy. She appreciates the team approach to physical therapy at Adventist Health Portland

After receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Pacific University, Sarah became certified in the treatment of vestibular disorders through Emory University. She has also completed coursework in the McKenzie Method of Diagnosis and Treatment for orthopedic spine and extremity injuries. As well as treating joint pain and motion loss, she is certified in the use of ASTYM for soft tissue injuries and has a special interest in treating the cervical spine and headaches. She sees all kinds of physical therapy patients but specializes in treatment of vestibular disorders including vertigo and dizziness.

In her spare time she enjoys hiking, sports and gardening.


Sam Russell, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Sam attended Nazareth College in Rochester, New York, and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. He joined the Adventist team in 2020 and specializes in neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries and chronic pain.

Sam believes in customizing care to each individual patient and working together as a team to develop a treatment plan that works for them. He feels that movement is medicine and is grateful for the opportunity to help people learn how to heal themselves.

In his free time, Sam enjoys running, Tango and Blues dancing, yoga and watching the Portland Trail Blazers. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and after living other places across the country he is happy to be settled back home.


Cora Schaefer Cora Schaefer, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Physical therapist Cora Schaefer has a passion for helping people get back to happy and healthy lifestyles through physical activity. She enjoys helping patients learn what is going on in their bodies and why the selected therapies can help. She feels that empowering patients with knowledge increases their participation in physical therapy and healing.

Schaefer earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Science in Austin, Texas. Schaefer specializes in manual therapy. She believes in treating people holistically, combining research, clinical experience and patients’ goals into therapy programs.

Born and raised in Oregon, Schaefer is an OSU Beavers fan who enjoys hiking and backpacking with her dog. She likes activities such as skiing, wakeboarding, ceramics and travel. During her training, she had an internship for Child Family Health International in Bolivia, South America where she learned Spanish


 Dolly WestoverDolly Westover

Physical Therapist Assistant


Every patient is unique, so physical therapist assistant Dolly Westover loves to get to know each one by actively listening. “I believe everyone should be treated with respect, kindness and love,” she says. “Then it is possible to assist and guide every patient in achieving their goals of living a more pain-free life, improving function and enjoying what they like to do.”

After completing degrees is medical assistant and physical therapist assistant, Dolly has honed her practice in outpatient physical therapy to include McKenzie Institute Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment and soft-tissue mobilization. She is also an accredited clinical instructor.

Patient needs and goals are at the center of Dolly’s practice. “I am your advocate for providing excellent care in your rehab to a better life,” she says.

Dolly loves living in the Pacific Northwest and the many outdoor activities available close to Portland. Some of the many activities she enjoys include hiking, skiing, rafting, horseback riding and nature photography. She values the outreach she does with her church to help others. Her family is important to her too, including her three grown children, her cat and her dog.


Katie WilliamsKatie Williams, PT, MDT

Physical Therapist

Katie Williams believes that as a physical therapist, she is also a teacher. Her goal with every patient is to guide toward a path of managing self-care through education, understanding and patience.

Williams earned her master’s degree in physical therapy at University of Iowa in Iowa City. She is also certified in mechanical diagnosis and treatment (also known as the McKenzie Method).

Outside of work, she does CrossFit and spends time with her family checking out the variety of cuisine available in the Pacific Northwest.


Rebecca Vidos Rolland

Rebecca Vidos - Roland

Physical Therapist

Physical therapist Rebecca Vidos-Roland provides patients with the tools to take care of their own health. For her, there is nothing more satisfying than someone returning to favorite activities because they’re stronger and more confident.

Rebecca earned her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. She helps people with general bone, muscle and joint issues and chronic pain and creates care plans centered around her patients’ goals.

Rebecca likes to stay active in her personal life. She enjoys running and martial arts, getting outside and traveling. But she also likes to sit on the couch surrounded by her family and dogs and reading a good book.
